Insomnia is the inability to sleep. There are different types of insomnia but basically if you have trouble falling asleep or staying asleep, you probably have insomnia. Insomnia is usually caused by other underlying problems such as stress, pain, sensitivity to stimulants like caffeine and even simply habit.
